Excellent resource for teachers or parents. Provides practice for all common core skills in a variety of instructional levels. Highly recommended.
Great practice problems for the ACT Aspire. This book is easy to use and also has online access to two practice tests, videos and worksheets. All workbook tests has answer keys that include detailed explanations of the answers. This is especially beneficial to parent that might not feel comfortable with content. Book covers 5 math domains with a wide assortment of practice problems.
The Lumos ACT Aspire 3rd grade math book was a great help to my third grader, and it would greatly benefit teachers in the classroom as well. My third grader was struggling with multiplication and telling time, but the activities in this book, along with the online component, helped him to significantly improve his skills in these trouble areas. This book is a great addition to any teacher or parent’s toolbox of resources.
The Lumos Learning ACT Aspire English LA Practice for Grade 3 book is very helpful for those using the book as a thinking aloud with students. The Reading snippets of text and questions will help with practice in thinking skills and serve as great resource for those creating their own practice for students in their classrooms.
The English section is not in the format of the ACT Aspire, but could be used as remediation in areas where students are weak in the language for grade 3.
One of my teacher friends referred me this book, she appreciated so much about the book I had to go for it. But, after buying I realized that she was absolutely right. Her advice was of great help to me as my child is a struggler in Math. Lumos Learning ACT Aspire Math study guide is an excellent choice for all those who feel weak at mathematics. It has everything from basic concepts to online assessments. Also, after submitting the test it provides with a feedback letting you know exactly where your child needs improvement. It should be made reference book in every school.
